California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) continues its all-in mission alongside partner agencies to support local communities in response to the 2023 Storm.

Here are the latest numbers as of May 3, 2023: 2023 STORMS California's All-In State Response to Help Communities Data as of: 5/3/2023 1.76 MILLION+ sandbags distributed 0590 MILLION+ cubic yards of snow plowed 60+ Shelters opened 21,700+ Super Sacks distributed 610+ comfort kits distributed Cal OES GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES 3.5 MILLION+ miles of California roads plowed or maintained 54.25 MILLION+ pounds of rock and sand used to shore up rivers and levees 1,405+ local requests filled or ongoing
